Faria Education Group

Faria Education Group has acquired Edu Intelligence, the education data and artificial intelligence specialist, for an undisclosed amount. The deal brings the provider of school management and curriculum solutions together with a platform designed to help senior trust, group, and school leaders turn complex information into actionable steps.

Edu Intelligence, developed by Welbee, offers a system that connects data from management information systems, staff and parent voice, and strategic documents into a single view. Its agentic AI is built specifically for education, surfacing patterns that influence performance and allowing users to query data in everyday language. The platform generates priorities and recommended next steps, cutting analysis and planning time by over 90%, and provides real-time tracking for boards and inspectors. The company was named a BESA Award winner for best use of AI in education.

For Faria Education Group, the acquisition adds a layer of analytical depth to its existing portfolio, which serves schools and districts internationally. The strategic rationale centers on closing the gap between operational data and instructional improvement. By integrating Edu Intelligence’s capabilities, Faria can offer its customers a more direct path from raw information to evidence-based decisions, reducing the manual work that often delays intervention.

The transaction is expected to combine Faria’s established distribution channels with Edu Intelligence’s specialized AI tools. This could allow the acquired technology to reach a broader base of school leaders who currently rely on fragmented reporting methods. The focus will be on practical outcomes, such as improved staff retention, attendance, and attainment, rather than on speculative product expansion.

The combined entity will now work on embedding Edu Intelligence’s insights into Faria’s existing workflows, with an emphasis on helping schools maintain continuous readiness for external review. The immediate priority is to ensure current Edu Intelligence users see no disruption, while new customers gain access to a more unified platform for school improvement.
