Sun Life has acquired Crescent Capital for an undisclosed amount, marking a significant expansion of its global asset management capabilities.

Crescent Capital, a global credit investment manager, brings over 30 years of experience and approximately $48 billion of assets under management as of September 30, 2025.

The firm specializes in below investment grade credit strategies, investing in marketable and privately originated debt securities including senior bank loans, high yield bonds, as well as private senior, unitranche, and junior debt securities.

This transaction underscores Sun Life's strategic intent to bolster its presence in the credit market.

The acquisition is strategically aligned with Sun Life's objective to diversify its asset management offerings and enhance its global reach.
