Agentis Health Group has acquired Clinical Pharmacist Solutions for an undisclosed amount. The deal brings together a healthcare services firm with a provider of clinical pharmacy support, consolidating capabilities in primary care delivery across the UK.
Clinical Pharmacist Solutions is a CQC-registered and Cyber-Essentials-certified provider of clinical services. It works with more than 100 organisations, including GP surgeries, primary care networks, and federations, serving over 3.1 million patients. Its team of clinical pharmacists and pharmacy technicians handles prescription re-authorisations, acute requests, hospital discharge processing, medication reviews, and chronic disease management clinics, using systems such as SystmOne and EMIS Web. The company has received multiple industry awards for its work.
Agentis Health Group, the acquiring party, operates in the healthcare sector with a focus on integrated service delivery. The acquisition is intended to broaden Agentis’s service portfolio by adding Clinical Pharmacist Solutions’ remote and flexible pharmacy support model. For Agentis, the move provides access to an established network of primary care clients and a workforce skilled in managing administrative workloads for GPs. For Clinical Pharmacist Solutions, joining Agentis offers a larger operational platform and access to additional resources for scaling its service offerings.
The transaction is expected to create operational efficiencies by combining Clinical Pharmacist Solutions’ clinical expertise with Agentis’s existing infrastructure. Both companies share a focus on reducing pressure on general practice, and the combined entity is positioned to offer a wider range of support services to primary care providers. The deal also aligns with broader trends in the NHS toward greater use of multidisciplinary teams and remote care models.
With the acquisition complete, the combined organisation will continue to serve existing clients while pursuing growth in the primary care market. The integration of Clinical Pharmacist Solutions into Agentis Health Group is expected to proceed without disruption to current service contracts, and further development of the pharmacy-led service line is anticipated in the coming quarters.
