Agista has acquired CENTROKINETIC, a specialized medical system focused on osteo-articular conditions in Bucharest, for an undisclosed amount. This transaction sees Agista taking full ownership of the medical provider, integrating its operations into Agista's portfolio.
CENTROKINETIC operates two facilities spanning over 1,000 square meters in Bucharest's Floreasca area. It fields a team of over 100 medical professionals, including orthopedists, neurologists, rehabilitation specialists, imaging specialists, rheumatologists, and psychologists, alongside a dedicated team of therapists. The system offers comprehensive diagnostics such as musculoskeletal ultrasound and osteo-articular MRI, alongside a wide range of treatments. These include kinetotherapy for sports traumatology, spinal column recovery, and pediatric rehabilitation, as well as specialized physiotherapy services like TECAR therapy and manual therapy.
The acquisition is a strategic move for Agista to expand its presence and capabilities within the specialized medical services sector. By integrating CENTROKINETIC's established expertise in orthopedic and neurological care, Agista aims to enhance its service offerings and reach in the Romanian healthcare market.
