CW Advisors has acquired Capital Management Services, LP, a nationally recognized accounts receivable management firm, for an undisclosed amount. The transaction transfers full ownership of Capital Management Services to CW Advisors, which will now oversee the company’s operations and strategic direction.
Capital Management Services specializes in debt recovery and customer service across all delinquency stages, from pre-delinquent accounts to out-of-statute debts. The firm works with major credit card issuers, banks, and large debt purchasers, handling portfolios in sectors such as bank and retail card, student loans, mortgage, overdrafts, bankruptcy holds, judgments, telecom, and commercial recovery. It processes over $12 billion in annual post-charge-off placements and serves more than 300,000 active customers across multiple credit card and mortgage portfolios. Since its inception, the company has recovered over $1.2 billion in gross collections and generated $600 million in gross revenues.
CW Advisors, the acquiring entity, is adding Capital Management Services to its portfolio to broaden its footprint in the financial services and receivables management space. The acquisition gives CW Advisors direct access to Capital Management’s established client base, which includes top-tier financial institutions, and its operational expertise in high-volume collections and customer service. For Capital Management Services, joining CW Advisors provides access to additional capital and management resources, which could support expansion into new markets or enhance existing service capabilities.
The deal is expected to create operational efficiencies by combining CW Advisors’ administrative and strategic oversight with Capital Management’s specialized recovery processes. Both companies emphasize compliance and customer-centric practices, which may ease integration and help maintain client trust during the transition. No changes to Capital Management’s day-to-day client relationships or service teams have been announced.
With the acquisition complete, the combined entity is positioned to strengthen its role in the receivables management industry. Capital Management Services will continue to operate under its existing brand, while CW Advisors focuses on scaling its newly acquired operations and leveraging the firm’s track record of high-volume recoveries to pursue further growth opportunities.
