Agilent Technologies has acquired Biocare Medical, LLC for an undisclosed amount.

The acquisition sees Agilent taking ownership of Biocare Medical, a company known for its innovative automated immunohistochemistry (IHC) instrumentation and a comprehensive range of reagents for IHC lab testing.

This strategic move expands Agilent's presence in the rapidly growing cancer and infectious disease diagnostic and research markets.
