Mubadala Capital has acquired Arrive Logistics, a top-tier North American truckload brokerage, for an undisclosed amount. The transaction transfers full ownership of the Austin, Texas-based company to the investment firm, marking a definitive change in Arrive’s corporate structure.
Arrive Logistics, founded in 2014, operates as one of the four largest truckload brokerages in North America, with ten locations across the continent. The company employs more than 2,000 people and serves a network of 5,500 customers, supported by roughly 10,000 core carriers. Its client base includes globally recognized brands, and over the trailing 36 months, more than 50 enterprise shippers have formally recognized the firm for service excellence. Arrive’s stated mission, “We Deliver, So You Can,” reflects its focus on providing custom strategic solutions for complex freight needs.
For Mubadala Capital, the acquisition represents a direct entry into the fragmented and growing freight brokerage sector. The firm, which manages investments across multiple industries, gains control of a scaled platform with established carrier relationships and a diversified customer roster. The purchase is not a funding round or a minority stake; it is a full buyout, giving Mubadala Capital operational oversight of Arrive’s strategy and resource allocation.
The strategic rationale centers on Arrive’s position in a market where shippers increasingly demand technology-enabled reliability. Mubadala Capital’s financial backing is expected to support Arrive in expanding its service capacity and deepening its carrier network, though specific integration plans have not been disclosed. The deal also provides Arrive with access to long-term capital, which could accelerate investments in digital tools and operational efficiency without the pressure of quarterly public-market reporting.
With ownership now under Mubadala Capital, Arrive Logistics is set to continue its existing operations under its current leadership team. The combined entity will focus on maintaining service quality while pursuing organic growth and potential market consolidation. The acquisition closes a chapter of independent ownership for Arrive, positioning the brokerage to leverage new financial resources in a competitive logistics landscape.
