Xilinx, the Silicon Valley company credited with inventing the FPGA and Adaptive SoCs, has secured $100K in new funding. Founded in 1984, the firm quickly became known for its highly flexible, programmable silicon, which, enabled by a suite of advanced software and tools, drove rapid innovation across a wide span of industries and technologies.
Its dynamic processing technology delivered adaptable, intelligent computing, a cornerstone of its offerings before Xilinx was acquired by AMD in 2022 and became the AMD Adaptive and Embedded Computing Group.
