Hanseatic Energy Hub Secures $

Hanseatic Energy Hub (HEH) has secured $100,000 in investment capital from investors.

This funding round marks a significant step for the company, which is developing a future-flexible terminal for liquefied natural gases at the Stade industrial site.

The investment underscores confidence in HEH's strategic role in Germany's energy infrastructure.

HEH is designed as an independent hub to secure and diversify Germany’s import needs for affordable energy.

Its initial expansion phase involves a zero-emission LNG terminal slated for operation from 2029, with infrastructure also approved for bio-LNG and SNG.

The facility is planned to have a regasification capacity of 13.3 billion m³/a and a send-out capacity of 21.7 GWh/h.

Beyond its initial scope, the hub is being developed to facilitate the import of hydrogen-based energy carriers as new climate-neutral energy sources emerge.

The $100,000 capital injection is expected to support HEH's ongoing development and operational preparations as it progresses towards its 2029 launch.
