Apex Group Acquires Globacap for Private Capital Markets Tech

Apex Group has acquired Globacap for an undisclosed amount. Globacap is a leading capital markets technology firm focused on digitising and automating the world’s private capital markets.

Its whitelabel SaaS solution brings public markets-like efficiency to private markets, enabling financial institutions such as securities exchanges, securities firms, private banks, and asset managers to accelerate their commercial activity and reduce operating costs.

Globacap's platform removes friction in private markets, aiming to increase capital availability through greater investor access, transaction flow, and liquidity, thereby unlocking economic growth.

The fintech has hosted over 70 private placements, executed more than $350 million in secondary liquidity with automated settlement, and currently administers over $14 billion of private securities.

This acquisition is strategic for Apex Group, a global financial services provider.

By integrating Globacap’s advanced technology, Apex Group significantly enhances its capabilities in private market digitisation and automation.
