Global Infrastructure Partners Acquires Aboitiz InfraCapital

Global Infrastructure Partners has acquired Aboitiz InfraCapital, Inc., the infrastructure arm of the Aboitiz Group, for an undisclosed amount.

This transaction marks a significant corporate acquisition, with Global Infrastructure Partners fully buying the Philippine infrastructure company, rather than making an investment or funding round.

Aboitiz InfraCapital aims to transform lives in the Philippines through better and integrated infrastructure facilities and services.

It partners with the Philippine government on various water, airport, digital infrastructure, and urban mobility projects, while also developing fully integrated economic centers.

Its diverse portfolio includes the Aboitiz Integrated Economic Centers in Batangas and Cebu, Apo Agua Infrastructura, Inc.

in Davao, Lima Water Corporation in Batangas, and Unity Digital Infrastructure. The company also holds a minority stake in Balibago Waterworks System, Inc.

This acquisition is strategically aligned with Global Infrastructure Partners' focus on global infrastructure investments.
